Week 1 Class

This week is the beginning of "Online Media Production", we have briefly introduced the course by our lecturer, Ms Eugenie.

Eugenie told us to be aware of digital issues in the coming weeks also asked us to think about the pros & cons of digital media.

Things have learned:

• The basic components and functions of a computer. (i.e. Motherboard, I/O)

• The development of the World Wide Web (WWW) and the difference between Web 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0

• Different forms of media; we are going to focus study on online media.

• Power of Ten: It is a design thinking method to take ten steps to get closer or step back to look at a thing.

In this course, we have to submit an interactive website. So Eugenie introduced a free website builder - Wix. We have created a Wix account and started to build our own website.

Finally, I have formed a group with Jazmine & Ryan.
